•• Our nation's founders believed that there were universal principles that brought about good government. They sought to discover these "ancient principles" by vigorously studying different country's history and also by studying the Bible. ••

The Democratic Party knows that they have the black vote. Because of that, black concerns can always be ignored by the Democratic Party.

Also, if Republican candidates feel that they could never persuade the black population to vote for them anyway, they will not even consider the needs and desires of the black population.

I am running in the Republican Party, but know this. I will carefully consider the needs of the black population in District 41 whether I am ever appreciated for that or not.

I care. I think it could be said that despite the rhetoric sometimes neither party is actively courting the black vote. But I am. I think I deserve your vote.

Sexuality 101

Let's get back to basics on sexuality.

• Sex is for pleasure, of course. It's one of the most pleasurable thing humans will ever experience. But to say pleasure is sex's only purpose is to be deliberately ignorant.

• Sex should bring bonding.

• That bonding ideally should be permanent. It should build families and the bring about the rearing and socialization of children. These children should be considered treasures, not inconveniences or burdens. They are figuratively arrows in our quiver against our enemies. Children are our legacy.

• If you enter too quickly into a sexual relationship with someone you may soon after that discover that you just don't like each other. Sex, improperly used, makes us not think clearly. There needs to be a friendship first, then a sexual relationship.

• Heterosexual intercourse is the leading cause of babies! For some that's an amazing insight! It is not the baby's fault that he or she is conceived. The baby is innocent of any crime worthy of capital punishment. Sex must once again be connected to responsibility. Sex is a potentially life-giving activity. That means that if you create a life you should be strongly connected to that life for the next 18+ years.

• Developing sexual self-control while we are young leads to general self-control in adulthood. If you want to think about it, we all make literally 100+ self control decisions every day. These are usually purpose vs. pleasure decisions, but ironically if our purposes are good, we are likely to gain greater pleasure in the long run. Short term discomfort many times brings long term pleasantness.

• There is a political movement that supports abortion, homosexuality, and transgenderism. Do you notice a common theme? These politicians are killing off their own people, either directly or by ensuring that those people will not reproduce. This is the promotion of a death-style, not a life-style. So how can these politicians get enough people to vote for them? By opening up our borders and giving our illegal aliens government money and - wink, wink - the right to vote. Ten to 27% of illegals are already registered to vote. If an illegal votes, it is a deport-able criminal offense. Those who encourage it are not your friends. These same politicians want a voting system that allows for, in fact guarantees, voter fraud.

Before our American Revolution, the nation's clergy dealt often with the issues of the day. In a sense, the clergy were the news service of the late 1700s.

The elite have no trouble cheating to get their way.

Am I a Libertarian?

One of my political opponents is referring to me as not a real Republican. They say I am a Libertarian. At least this person is not calling me a RINO (Republican in Name Only). But here is my response to that. I've been influenced by Thomas Jefferson who quoted a Latin phrase that has two translations. One translation is "I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery." The other translation is "I prefer the tumult of liberty to the quiet of servitude."

I am of the opinion that good government is where the maximum number of people enjoy the maximum amount of freedoms. Of course, to balance this out, I've also heard a more recent phrase. "Your freedom to stretch out your hand when you yawn ends where my nose begins."

What do a lot of people want from government? Often they just want to be left alone.

I believe government should be of the people, by the people, and for the people, just as our first Republican President Abraham Lincoln did.

Whatever you would call our nation's founders and whatever you would call Abraham Lincoln, that's what you should call me.

Why Must We March in Step?

My wife and I were early-adopting home educators. We did it when we didn't know anybody else who was doing it. We did it not to be rebels, but to assure that our children had a Christian education even though we didn't at that time have the money to send them to a private Christian school. We didn't care much what other people did with their children. That was their business.

But I find an entirely different spirit when it comes to the LGB+ community. They INSIST that others accept them for what they are. The LGB+ community INSISTS that we use they desired pronouns. They usually insist that they were born that way. We now know that that cannot be true. How is that? Because in Generation Z, 20% of them accept an LGB+ sexual lifestyle. It is not possible that in one generation these lifestyles went from around 3% to 20% unless we can say that the lifestyle was CHOSEN, that the lifestyle was the result of intense indoctrination.

Why is the LGB+ community so imperialistic? They are not going to reproduce naturally, so they have to reproduce ideologically. I object to forcing people to accept what their best conscience tells them is untrue. We need the great mass of people who follow their best conscience.

A bit of information not included in the video is that home foreclosures are up 117% since Biden took office.

"Slow the Growth of Government"

About 35 years ago, when I first became a Precinct Delegate, and became involved in politics, I noticed something. As people were running for office I would hear them use the phrase "We need to slow the growth of government." It was used numerous times by numerous candidates.

I was offended. I felt, 35 years ago, that the government was already too large. Why should it grow, slowly or quickly?

So what we have, still, are groups of people in both political parties who think that government should grow, just disagreeing on how fast it should grow and in what areas. They use different phrases, different talking points, different sound bites. They both try to claim the moral high ground. The Republicans and Democrats fight like cats and dogs, but when it comes down to it, many from both parties believe the same, that government should grow.

After 35 years, I now think government is vastly too large. I do not agree with the UniParty's position that government should continue to grow. I think we need to spend the next few years trying to figure out how to shrink the size of government. Between local, state, and federal taxes and government-caused inflation, over 50% of our money goes to the government. The government thinks that we should give money to them first before we give money to our own family.

I believe in respecting top-down leadership.

But I also believe that government that does not listen to it's citizens is on a dangerous and self-destructive course.

I have tried, not always successfully, to be a peacemaker between differing factions of politicians. Someone reading this will know what I mean.

The way to be the smartest person in the room is to carefully listen to the wisdom from everyone else in the room, then to summarize the best ideas.

"Nationalism, populism, is a very great threat to our Democracy."

~ Nancy Pelosi

My commentary:

I do not fear nationalism. It is merely taking care of our own country. Our leaders are not elected to be world leaders. They are elected to be national and state leaders. We should be good world neighbors, but we should love ourselves as much as we love our world neighbors. Ideally, power should flow to the states and not to the federal government. Then if one or more states mess up, people can vote with their feet, and move. This is already happening in New York and California. Right now our power flows from the cities and counties to the states, then to the federal government, which gives their power away to international interests. If that is the goal, then we make our own votes increasingly useless.

Populism was the goal of government under Abraham Lincoln, and almost all other Presidents. You become popular by pleasing the maximum number of people.

Democracy. Wow. Do we really need to again define democracy? Representative democracy is doing the will of the people, not the will of the elites.

Nancy Pelosi's policies have negatively effected the entire Democratic Party. That is why our government doesn't much care for the values of We the People.

Why Do My Opponents Have So Much Money?

First, I have made a personal commitment that if I am elected, I will serve the interests of my District and the ten million citizens of Michigan. I will not serve the "needs" of the 100 wealthiest citizens or companies or organizations just to get good PR or campaign contributions.

I am not against business. Far from it. Also, I welcome the viewpoint of moneyed Political Action Committees. I will listen to you. But your money doesn't impress me.

Secondly, the Democrats have made fast friends with our nation's billionaires because of their 2020 lock down policies. Remember this. The billionaire Big Box stores all over the country gained multiple extra billions of dollars for every extra week of the lock downs in every state possible. That is a hard, indisputable fact. Michigan had one of the longest lock downs of any of the states. Remember, if you will, our last race for Governor. Democrat Gretchen Whitmer outspent her opponent by about ten to one.

Isn't it time for Right to make Might, instead of the other way around?

Please look toward the top. I do have a donation button. Can you help?

In the past four years, government policy has caused the average family of four to lose over $11,400 of the value of their dollar. Isn't it time to invest in your own future by contributing to candidates like myself? I also deeply value your prayers. Our state and country does not have political problems as much as we have spiritual problems.
