Tomorrow is Primary Voting day in Michigan.

Well. Well. Well.

Apparent world-wide market crash.

Possibility of World War 3 starting in the middle east.

I want to talk about that, but I want to give it a little more time before I do so. Also, I think the more appropriate medium for that is my other blog, Ancient Principles.

So what do we do when we literally can do nothing about a situation? I have been dwelling on two Scriptures lately. I'll share the first one with you. It is when the Israelites were about to cross the Red Sea:

But Moses told the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the LORD’s salvation, which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians you see today, you will never see again. 

The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Let me go on with this and make a comment about the next verse. Here we go:

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the Israelites to go forward. 

~ Exodus 14:15

First we pray, then we act. Both are important. That's the message from God.

Value of Silver and Gold

They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing. Their silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD. They cannot satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it. For it was the stumbling block of their iniquity.

~ Ezekiel 7:19

Comment:

Although basing an economy on silver or gold is a wise course of action, if the Church and our nation are under the wrath of God because of our iniquity, that gold and silver will be useless.

Call to Prayer, and More

I came across this proclamation from George Washington calling for a time of prayer in 1778. He would not yet have been President. This appears to be a General Order to his troops.

But the thing I notice is the wording. This is wording that we would not be acceptable today in the political realm. Washington calls for fasting, and humiliation, and prayer. This would be self-humbling for our own sins. It calls for chaplains to preach accordingly. It calls for us to seek the "dispensations of Providence."

Let us who call upon the name of Jesus have our own time of fasting and humiliation and prayers. The government will not call for it. Let's do it ourselves in our own way in our own churches.

If MY PEOPLE...then God will heal our land.

Which is Cause? Which is Effect?

Then he said to me, “The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice. For they say, ‘The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD does not see.’

Ezekiel speaks: Has God forsaken the land despite their true worship of Him, so God is useless? Or has God forsaken the land because our worship of Him is corrupt? When Christians do not get involved in promoting just public policy THOSE CHRISTIANS are forsaking the land, not God.

All I can say is Amazing, Uplifting, and Edifying. The interview lasts nearly an hour and a half. The song is just short of four minutes.

By the way, if you're like me, you say to yourself "I don't have time to listen to something for an hour and a half", then just listen to it while you are doing dishes or other routine house chores! ○

Speaking of Revelation...

The book of Revelation talks about a coming one-world leader commonly referred to as the Antichrist (counterfeit Messiah).

So I don't believe in globalism. It's inconsistent with my faith.

Also, if we really appreciate the genius of our country's founders, they offered us a better government system back then, much better than the plans given by today's elites.

Candidate Sex Lives

I am one of the few people who predicted a couple of weeks before the November 2016 election that Trump would win. Here's how I guessed it.

If you will remember, several days before that election, Hillary Clinton released her secret weapon. She had a recording of Trump saying that he had powerful control over women. He went on to say that sometimes you just need to go up to a woman and grab them by the p***y. Hillary and company were absolutely certain that she had doomed Trump's run for the Presidency with that recording.

But them something happened. Someone else released a conversation with Bill Clinton where he stated that Hillary "gets more p***y than I do."

Donald Trump seemed genuinely embarrassed over his conversation and seemed to have deeply regretted the words he had spoken. Hillary did not regret her sex life. So we ended up with a candidate that seemed to be an out-of-control but repentant heterosexual and another who was an unrepentant, some would say militant, bisexual. I felt America would take the repentant heterosexual, and I even told my Democrat friend that Hillary just gave Trump a five percent boost in the entire nation. Clinton, I said, had just clinched the Presidency for Trump. I was told I was being ridiculous.

I was right, at least on the result. In 2016 Trump became President. I believe it was because in 2016 the general public was more sexually conservative and voted their consciences on that matter.

Now to the present. It seems obvious to me that Kamala Harris - at least a little - slept her way to the top. So what do I predict this time? I'm not sure. Society has changed. Those with non-Christian and anti-Christian sexual lifestyles are in great political control. I'll say it again - GREAT political control.

Here's what I do know, with certainty. This is one more opportunity for the Church - the body of Christ - to show by example that God knew what He was talking about when he designed the family. A godly family structure does bring success, in a number of ways.

So I would like to say, "well done" to every Christian and every Christian leader who is following God's design for the family. You are doing society a service even if you are despised for doing so. You are giving society an example of what is the best.

Who is Issachar?

From Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do

This chapter in the Bible is a list of the mighty men who joined with King David to make his kingdom powerful and just. Issachar was one of the twelve tribes of Israel who supported King David and there is a very interesting statement said about them.

The tribe of Issachar knew the times, and they knew how to respond to the times.

I pray diligently that this will be a part of EVERY church that honors the Word of God. This attribute is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to knowing how to live as a Christian in our society.
